Our Story

Long before becoming colleagues, we were best friends.

For over two decades, our friendship has been built on trust, laughter, authenticity, and being there for one another through life’s many seasons. Along the way, we discovered that we also shared a deep passion for helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

That shared passion became part of the heart behind Moon Within Counseling.

As two Cuban-born therapists who grew up in South Florida, we understand the importance of culture, family, identity, connection, and having a space where you can truly be yourself. We bring the same warmth, honesty, compassion, and genuine connection that have shaped our friendship into the work we do with our clients.

We believe therapy can be meaningful and challenging while still feeling human. Our hope is that when you come to Moon Within Counseling, you feel welcomed, understood, and supported as you discover what has been within you all along.
